Mini Game!!!!

I don't play games very often at home. When I do I mostly like to play games that are arcade type games. This topic changed my perspective about games because I now know how much work it takes to play a game. It takes a lot of time and it may even cost a few tears. Now I like to play games because I can appreciate them more now that I know the basic things for making one. :)

Choosing a topic!!!! : )

My name is Catherine. My topic is on homeless people in the United States. The Washington Post will help me because it gives myths that people think are true about homelessness. The New York Times will help me because it has a lot of articles about homelessness in the US. The game A-Maze-ing  Math will help me because it has math and it is a maze. I like mazes. Also The Game will help me because it supports a cause and it is an arcade game. Eventually I will create a game about the affects of homelessness.

Internet Safety!!!

The Internet is a BIG place. It is viewed by most of the world. Some safety tips include, never give personal information to anyone you meet online, like your name or address. Never meet up with anyone you don't already know, they could be a stalker. Make sure you know everyone on your friend list. You don't have to answer any emails or IMs from people you don't know. There is no such thing as "private" on the Internet. Be careful about posting pictures of yourself, you never know who will see them. Don't download content without your parent's permission. Finally never share your password with anyone but your parents. To learn more go to commonsense.com.
